What will your money buy and how will we use your funds:

$1,000 a month will give financial support to cover insurance copayments and pharmaceutical copayments for a family facing a second liver transplant for their toddler.

$800 a month will pay insurance premiums for a single mother with a two year old who has brain tumors.

$2,400 will fund the annual living expenses not covered after the loss of a mother's job to care for a child with Wilms Tumor

$24,000 will fund the remaining costs of a bone marrow transplant for a teenager with Leukemia

Supports pediatric cancer research that seeks to improve upon traditional cancer therapies

Funds quality of life projects for children with cancer

Donates computer, toys, videos, books, games and game equipment to area hospitals and treatment centers for the use of young cancer patients Here are just a few extraordinary examples from the past. Cerritos Ford employees in 2001 raised $3500 to help the Foundation. Management and employees of Cerritos Ford turned out for a special luncheon on December 13th, 2001. The occasion, attended by over 300 employees, was organized to present America's Baby Cancer Foundation with a check for $3,500 from a special fund set up by Cerritos Ford. Throughout the year, employees have made donations to a charitable fund and management agreed to also contribute 50% of the total raised by employees. The employees selected America's Baby Cancer Foundation as one of the charities to receive a share of the fund. |

Dave Conant, President of Cerritos Ford, commented: "Even the smallest donation, as small as one dollar, will warm your heart more than anything you can imagine when you know that you are helping babies and their parents. Babies are too young to speak up and fight for themselves, so they need our help. Our employees truly felt that this was a deserving cause and one that is close to every parent's heart."
All of the money raised by Cerritos Ford that first year was used at a special event held at Ronald McDonald House New York and was distributed to families from all over the United States who stay at the House while their children receive treatment and attend a special children's cancer clinic in New York. The clinic also received part of the donation.
A special mention was made at the event for the Cerritos Community and Cerritos Ford as an appreciation of the goodwill that reached literally from coast to coast.
In 2005 the employees of Cerritos Ford remain our first and most loyal supporter contributing quarterly. Since that first donation, America's Baby Cancer Foundation has been able to provide services and counsel to two of the greater Cerritos Ford family. In 2005 the employees of Cerritos Infiniti joined the Cerritos Ford family in their support of America's Baby Cancer Foundation.
- Futon Design Group saw a local newspaper article and sent $1500. FDG continues to send an annual contribution.
- Ganahl Lumber company donated funds in memory of a patient, Joshua Ratigan.
- California National Bank joined our list of sponsors and joined our Board of Directors.
- Simple Green became a supporter since 2003 by donating funds and EGBAR (Everythings Gonna Be All Right) toys for give away at our events.
- Holiday Inns joined our list of supporters in 2004, when many of their hotels in Los Angeles provided rooms for families coming to UCLA for treatment.
Our grateful thanks to these and other companies and individuals who have helped so much.
